Short parents don't always give birth to short children. in most cases, children are often taller than parents for bizzare reasons. i guess the height of children has something to do with genetics of relatives or grand-parent. but this question need to scientifical back up. my pesonal opinion is that , mostly children's height is not only influenced by parent genes but also by grandparents too.
Gentain plants do not grow very tall because they live on mountains, and because mountains are high they get lots of sun, which they like. if they grow too tall, the sun will make them shrivel up and die.
if we assume tall plant <T> & short plant as< t> genotype of tall plant ; TT genotype of short plant ; tt
The phenotypic ratio of the offspring when a tall man marries a short woman is 3:1 (tall/short). The phenotypic ratio is figured by using the punnet square with the dominant allele for tall and the recessive allele for the short gene.
In Mendel's experiments with pea plants, the ratio of tall to short plants in the F1 generation was 100% tall, as tall (dominant) traits masked the short (recessive) traits. However, in the F2 generation, after self-pollinating the F1 plants, the ratio of tall to short plants was approximately 3:1, with three tall plants for every one short plant.
Some flowers that grow tall include sunflowers, hollyhocks, delphiniums, and foxgloves. These flowers can reach heights of several feet, making them ideal choices for adding vertical interest to your garden or landscape.
It depends on genectics, if your family is tall, you will probably grow a few more inches and if your family is short, you might end up on the short side, but you will probably grow at least a copule more inches b4 your done
Whether or not you will reach 6 feet 8 inches tall depends wholly on whether or not you have the genetics to grow this tall. Some people would never be able to grow this tall due to having a short family.
a super mushroom.
well it all depends how tall your family is
It all depends on family growth traits. if your family is short, then chances are, you're gonna be short. but, if your family is on the taller side, youre most likely gonna be on the tall side.
People have different growth rates, some may grow faster others may grow slower and it also depends on yr genetic makeup.Lets say if your parents are tall you might be tall to.there family.or they are a late bloomer or ( again ) they have a disease were they can't grow that much! think a little people!
You can not grow any taller than what your genetics will allow you to. Normally people who comes from a family with shorter people well be short like the family.
You will grow until you are about 18-19 years old. How tall you are is set by DNA. Take a look at the people in your family and see how tall they are. You will be the mean between them. This should give you an idea.
it looks like it a family like an ordinary family a old fat short or tall family etc.......
Yes, because you may have a ressesive gene
There is no definitive size you should be. Puberty will see you grow taller but that is depending on your genes and how tall you are when you enter. A lot of tall boys will not grow as much or as quick on entering puberty than a lot of short boys. There is no real way of finding out how tall you will be other than looking at other members of the family (as in the genes). Growth spurts will happen during your teens.
Then a family relatives were born like a migit! Then the generation passed on. If one Parent is small and the other is tall. Chances are 50% kids are likely to be short or tall.
