What is Global Warming Can you feel it?

Some years ago it was postulated that the Earth is tending to get warmer year on year. Some people also felt that this was due to man's activities. The problem with deciding whether the Earth is actually getting warmer is that it only happens (if at all) very slowly, and probably at different rates in different parts of the world. So it's not easy to be sure if it's happening. However, there does seem to be quite a reduction in the amount of ice at the poles, so maybe global warming is a fact But you're not going to feel this much.

Also, if there is indeed global warming, is it due to man's activities or would it have happened by itself? After all, warming like this is cyclical.
