Hi You cannot see Pluto with the naked eye. Even with a high-powered telescope it's just a gray featureless dot. I would have thought the Hubble telescope could have answered a lot of questions about Pluto, but perhaps it's too "close" for Hubble to focus on it. Phil

Yes. Charon, Plutos largest moon, is about 1200km in diameter, while Plutos diameter is around 2322km, so Plutos diameter is about twice the size. In terms of volume though, Pluto is around 7.4 times as big.
