A special drawing that shows the whole Earth at one time is known as a "map" or more specifically, a "world map." These maps represent the Earth's features, including continents, countries, and bodies of water, typically in a two-dimensional format. While they provide a comprehensive view, they may distort certain aspects due to the challenges of representing a spherical surface on a flat plane. Additionally, globes serve as a three-dimensional representation of the Earth, offering a more accurate depiction of its shape and proportions.
Pie charts are commonly used to show parts of a whole. Each slice of the pie represents a proportion of the total, making it easy to see the relationship between the different components.
Because you can't the same size and shape at the same time.
The earth is round.L know this because there are inner parts of the earth.Like there are inner parts of a ball. But,you can’t say the earth is flat because then yo would be taking the way the whole fact that their is more to the earth that just humans, animals, water, and land. Its like saying that a cake is flat but you know inside theres cream filling.
This was my question too. Here is what I know. Polar projection shows the poles. but not really like the whole earth. While the mercator shows a flat globe in certain parts. Mercator is like a map. If its truest representation then I will have to say polar projection wins.
