Not sure if I'm on the right track but... Way back in the '70s when I did chemistry, the 'standard' test for methane was to collect a small sample in a test tube, hold the mouth of the tube near a naked flame, and wait for it to 'pop'. The thing is - that also worked for any other combustible gas - such as oxygen !... If I'm wrong - someone else is more than welcome to remove this and replace it with the right answer.

Actually, the term Methane Burp is a theory to account for massive global climate change. One theory is that a change is ocean temps (or levels) can trigger a large scale release of methane from compunds called methane clathrates on the sea beds. Methane (being a powerul greenhouse gas) would cause a rise in air temps. One theory is that a methane burp brought about the death of the dinosaurs.
The planet Uranus appears blue-green due to the presence of methane in its atmosphere. Methane absorbs red light, allowing the blue and green wavelengths to be more prominent, giving the planet its distinct color.
They do not burp because its pray is digested, not eaten.
The chemical symbol for methane is CH4.
Methane is a pure substance.
It is possible to use methane, but not advisable as methane gas is harmful
Yes the smell when you and me fart and burp is methane, everybody produces methane gas through burping and farting
Methane, carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, same kind of gas any animal lets out if they got flatulence or have to burp.
Believe it or not cars or factories are not the most air pollution. It is really Methane gas. Methane gas goes into the air actually when cows burp and pass gas.
A burp is primarily made up of swallowed air that is released from the stomach through the mouth. It may also contain small amounts of gases produced during digestion, such as carbon dioxide and methane.
Cow burps contribute to global warming because they release methane gas, which is a potent greenhouse gas that traps heat in the atmosphere. This methane gas is produced during the digestion process of cows and is released into the atmosphere when they burp.
A cow will burp once every minute. However the burps are silent and often go unnoticed unlike the kind of burp you think of coming from a person that just drank a whole pint of beer or coke in one sitting.
Yes they do, but they burp much more than they pass gas. As a matter of fact, a cow will eructate (burp) once every minute of every day because of the proximity of the rumen to the mouth. Thus more methane is passed through the mouth than the anus, because it has a much shorter distance to travel outwards. Where the methane only has to go from the rumen to the esophagus and out the mouth, the methane gas would have to go through the abomasum, small intestine, then large intestine (which are quite long when stretched out) then finally the rectum.
do goats burp
you burp, as you are burping make your mouth move as if you were saying a letter
Sometimes you can't burp because you never did something to do something to burp. If you would like to burp try drinking coke. Could be any any coke. The normal coca cola, diet coke you name it! If it doesn't work try to ask questions on how to burp in lots of different ways. For example How to burp? Or How can I burp? Or How do you burp?
No, you do not burn caloires when you burp.
You burp right from the start.
