Quanitive observation is the mathematical aspect of the experiment, such as the amount of water used or the height of a plant.
Qualitive observation is using descriptions and words to describe parts of the experiment. One example is the chemical color change of a gas (what shade of color does it have?)
A qualitive observation is an observation of a product of a reaction which cannot be measured numerically, e.g. colour, state of matter. A quantitive observation is an observation which can be measured, e.g. size, volume.
Quantitative observation involves measurements or numerical data, while qualitative observation involves descriptions based on qualities such as color, shape, or texture. Quantitative observations are often objective and precise, whereas qualitative observations are more subjective and descriptive in nature.
Laboratory observation takes place in a controlled environment where researchers manipulate variables, while naturalistic observation occurs in the subject's natural environment without interference. Laboratory observation allows for more precise control over variables and conditions, whereas naturalistic observation provides insights into real-world behaviors and interactions.
Inference is a word for an interpretation of an observation
Observation techniques involve the systematic process of collecting data by watching and recording behaviors, events, or activities. This can include direct observation, participant observation, structured observation, and naturalistic observation. These techniques are commonly used in fields such as psychology, sociology, education, and anthropology to gather accurate and detailed information about various phenomena.
a qualitive observation is observing something without using numbers like here is an example: the cell is round with blue cytoplasm in it. a quanitive observation is with using numbers only. here is an example: the tree is 23 inches round and 17ft off the ground. that is the difference.
Quantitive observations are facts like "the shirt is red" and qualitive observations are opinions like " that shirt is cool"
A qualitive observation is an observation of a product of a reaction which cannot be measured numerically, e.g. colour, state of matter. A quantitive observation is an observation which can be measured, e.g. size, volume.
Quantitve observation (quality)... Qualitive observation involves the quality... THANKS MR. ENDRIS 2011LJHS
It is qualitative (not qualitive!).
Quantitative observation involves measurements or numerical data, while qualitative observation involves descriptions based on qualities such as color, shape, or texture. Quantitative observations are often objective and precise, whereas qualitative observations are more subjective and descriptive in nature.
