The dominant stage in ferns is the sporophyte stage, which is the leafy plant that we typically see. The gametophyte stage is small and short-lived, developing from a spore and producing gametes for sexual reproduction.
Haplontic life cycle is type of reproductive cycle seen in most fungi, green algae and many protozoa. In this type of life cycle haploid phase of the cells is predominant. The zygote undergoes meiosis and produces haploid spores. These haplonts will then divide mitotically to produce more haplonts. These haplonts will give rise to male and female gametes. In haplontic life cycle 2n state of nuclei is present only in the zygot e and this state is very short lived.
Sedimentary rocks can record information about the environment in which they formed, such as the presence of water, wind, or ice. They can also preserve evidence of the organisms that lived in that environment, including fossils.
In the life cycle of a bryophyte, the dominant generation is the gametophyte stage. This is the haploid phase that produces gametes (sperm and eggs) through mitosis. The gametophyte is typically the more visible and longer-lived phase, while the diploid sporophyte, which develops from fertilized eggs, is usually smaller, dependent on the gametophyte, and short-lived. This alternation of generations is a key characteristic of bryophytes.
Fossils are bones and remenants of organisms that lived a long time ago. I guess the bones of what were once organisms and bacteria that helped it to decay helps to form a fossil....

The cellular process that results in the segregation of Mendel's factors is called meiosis. Meiosis is a type of cell division that produces gametes (sperm and egg cells) with half the chromosome number of the parent cell, leading to genetic variation through the random assortment of chromosomes. This process ensures that each gamete receives a unique combination of alleles from the parent organisms.
The intermediate product is neptunium 237 ( a very long-lived radioisotope).
Just count the years he lived and multiply the total by 365 days a year and you will get the total number of days Lincoln lived. If he doesn't have exactly a certain number of lived years, just count the number of fully lived years, and multiply it by 365 days in a year, then add the product of that with the product of one year minus the months and date he died/lived and you will get the exact number of days Abraham Lincoln lived.
Adam Smith never lived in America and died before the formation of the modern Democrat Party, and so is not a Democrat.

England lived at peace with the thriteen colonies that eventually formed the United States of American from their formation until 19 April 1775, when hostilities began in Massachusetts.

Try "Summit"! A short-lived candybar. Probably cause of the bad advertising.
The Romans adopted the military formation of the Samnites: the maniples. This formation, which had small squares of men arranged in lines in a way that gave them a chessboard pattern, provided much greater flexibility for mountain warfare.
Mendel lived in the 19th century and had no knowledge of the cell components . The 'elements' that he referred to can now be correlated to the genes which are composed of DNA. The DNA is organized in chromosomes. We now know that each cell contains multiple chromosomes each one of which is present in pairs. Thus there are two copies of the genes as stated in Mendel's Law. We now know that DNA replicates to make identical copies and that in mitosis the two daughter cells inherit the full DNA. We now have also observed that cells can go through meiosis to form sex cells. During meiosis the diploid cell is divided into 4 haploid cells (gametes) where each gamete has only one copy of each chromosomes . This process was also predicated in Mendel's first law
