Aluminum would make a better insulator than iron due to its lower thermal conductivity. While both metals are conductive, aluminum has a higher resistance to heat flow compared to iron, making it more effective in reducing heat transfer. However, for insulation purposes, materials specifically designed for insulation, such as foam or fiberglass, are far superior to both metals.
The rock used to make aluminum is called bauxite. Bauxite is a sedimentary rock that is the primary source of aluminum. It is mined and processed to extract aluminum oxide, which is then used to produce aluminum metal.
In Pixelmon, you can make aluminum plates by first mining aluminum ore, which is typically found in caves. Once you have the aluminum ore, smelt it in a furnace to create aluminum ingots. Finally, place the aluminum ingots in your crafting table in a row, filling all three slots to craft aluminum plates.
Beating aluminum to make aluminum foil is a physicalchange, and not a chemical one. Note, however, that aluminum is generally rolled to make foil rather than beaten. The ductility of aluminum is a physical characteristic of this amazing metal that makes it possible for us to do that.
Aluminum ore is called bauxite. All you need to make aluminum is bauxite and a hell of a lot of electricity.
Aluminum is the best conductor of heat among the materials listed. Glass, plastic, and foam are poor conductors of heat in comparison to aluminum.
Cotton and aluminum foil, as long as it isn't going around a heat source.
Some are and some aren't. Polyurethane foam is, in general, not fireproof, while aluminum-faced foam generally is.

Aluminum foil would keep a sandwich warm longer than a foam box. Not sure I would agree with the foregoing: aluminum is a very good conductor of heat and gains (or loses) heat easily. Foam would insullate the sandwich better, minimizing any temperature changes, and therefore would keep it warm (or cold) longer. See the link below for more information
