An aeronautical map (or chart) is a map that shows the various low and high altitude airways as well as control areas, restricted and special use airspace. It includes navigational aids, physical obstructions (mountains, high antennae, etc.) and generally provides all the information necessary for aircraft to navigate safely. This information can be overlaid on a general outline of the area below, or over a detailed map of the area below that shows towns, rivers, etc.
The University of Nairobi is known for offering aeronautical engineering programs and is considered one of the best colleges in Kenya for this field. They have strong connections to the aviation industry and offer hands-on training and research opportunities for students.
