both to be honest but i gotta admit the ashes to ashes series 3 ending was way better than life on mars it was more confusing and strange something that takes a lot of thinking and is also upsetting cause it was the last..... but i hope they do a special one day even if it's just one episode cause that would be amazing hope that answered your question...
