There are alot of catatrophies happening because 2010 is about to happend. We had alot of earthquakes and earth tilted already. In 2010 earth is supposed to tilt of its axis and alot of bad things happen. But don't get scared they said that earth was going to an end in 2002.

Climate change is affecting the Earth in many ways:

• Rising temperatures
• Rising sea levels, flooding cities and croplands with salt water
• Animal and human habitat destruction. Occupants move, adapt or die.
• Extreme weather events, storms, blizzards, heat waves, droughts, rains.
• Refugees seeking lands to grow their food.
• Refugees seeking water after their rivers have dried up.

This is why it is important to act NOW to stop it.

We have to:

1. change to renewable energy, water, wind and sun
2. stop burning fossil fuel (coal, oil and gas) which is causing global warming and climate change.
3. Plant millions of trees to replace the ones we have destroyed (trees remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere).

The global temperature continues to rise, in response to the increase in CO2 liberated by the oxidation reduction of fossil carbon.

Preindustrial CO2 ranged between 280 and 300 ppm. We will pass 400 ppm in just a few years, and 500 ppm by 2050. Earth's temperature will rise significantly in response to that human induced change. Many atmospheric scientists suspect 350 ppm is about the maximum sustainable level for CO2.

The consequences of this rise will be continued melting of glacial ice, resulting in rising oceans and subsequent flooding. Although the frequency of storms should not change, their severity is expected to increase. Some areas will experience more severe periods of drought, while others will have more rain. Earth's climate is always changing, always in a state of flux. The concern about THIS change, however is that the rate is hugely accelerated. In ages past dramatic climate changes occurred on time scales of thousands of years. This change is contracted to times scales of mere decades.
