Evaporation. (The liquid turns into vapour)
Evaporation
The difference between them is that boiling is when you heat a liguid and it turns into a gas, vaporization is when a liquid changes into a gas and evaporation occurs at the surface of a liquid beneath its boiling point.
The process by which a liquid changes into a gas is called evaporation. This occurs when the molecules in the liquid gain enough energy to overcome the forces holding them together as a liquid, and escape into the surrounding environment as a gas.
When a solid turns directly into a gas without passing through the liquid state, it is called sublimation. This occurs when the solid absorbs enough heat energy to break the intermolecular forces holding its particles together, causing them to transition directly into the gas phase. An example of this is when dry ice (solid carbon dioxide) sublimes into carbon dioxide gas.
condensation
condensation
At temperatures below the boiling point, this phase change is evaporation. Above the boiling point, the liquid boils.
it is called evaporatin
The change from liquid to gas is called evaporation, I believe.
gas
it is called condensation when gas turns into a liquid.
Fluorine is a gas.
Evaporation.
The change from a liquid to a gas is called vaporization. Sublimation, evaporation, and boiling are all types of vaporization.
when the molecules in a liquid get heated, they gain energy and then move around alot more, it turns to a gas. This process is called evaporation.
When a liquid turns to gas it is called evaporation, vaporization or boiling.
