Convergent boundary
folding
I think that when two continental plates collide it's called a collision margin, the mountains that then form are called fold mountains :)
Volcanoes at the boundaries where two oceanic plates collide will create a string of islands called an archipelago. An archipelago is also linked by land areas that are below the sea.
When two oceanic plates collide, one may be pushed under the other and cause magma from the mantle to rise, forming a volcanoe or volcanoes. When two continential plates collide at a reverse fault tectonic earthquakes occur.
When two plates collide or crash into each other, it is called a convergent boundary. At these boundaries, one plate is forced beneath the other in a process called subduction. This can lead to the formation of mountain ranges and volcanic activity.

Two plates colliding and one being pushed upwards is called subduction.
That is called subduction.
A destructive margin
A boundary where two plates meet and collide forming mountains is called a convergent boundary. It is also known as destructive plate boundary.
They are called rift volcanoes.
When two continental plates collide, fold mountains are formed.
