I dont know about anyone else, but for me at least, the bilogy classes that deal with macro stuff, like anatomy, biomes, ecology, wildlife, etc., is easy, whereas microbiology and chemistry is quite difficult. Of course, there are many people who would say the exact opposite of me, so I ll just give you a run down of what you ahve to take to get a Biology bachelors degree. You need to fulfill the genral university requirements wherever you plan on going, like communications, economics, history, a language, anthropology, art appreciation, library science, etc. then, you have to complete basic classes in other sciences, physics and chemistry. Then, you need to take general biology 115 and 116 (Ill give you the numbers where I went, but they are undoubtedly diffent across the country), ecology 261, intro to microbiology, organic chemistry 321 and 322, genetics, evolutionary biology, and about 20 credits worth of billogy electives. With this, you can choose easy 100 level stuff, but if you are planning on going on to a specific field after this, like medicine, then you may want to take anatomy, or epidemiology, or something that pertains to your specific field. Honestly, after the fact, the general requirements and macro biology stuff was easy, but I am still struggling to finish my organic chemistry and genetics/evolutionary stuff. I'm in my fourth year now, and I will have to take at least one more year. This is simply because when I first came here, to UAF, I didnt meet with a Biology advisor, and I didnt lay out a four year plan. I started aking general requirement stuff in my first year. I should have started immediately wi biology, then taken the gen requ stuff online or, hell, over the summer if need be, since upper division stuff isnt offered over the summer. I think Ill be able to get my degree after five years, but the sad thing is I still have to answer this question: what do I want to do? Id suggest meeting wirh an advisor, who will often times be a biology professor as well, and talk to them about how they went through school, and what they did, see if anything resonates with you. Perhaps get a summer job in or near somehting biology related, like work with livestock, or volunteer at a clinic, or see if you can get some experience working with animals, plants, insects, etc. if you arent sure what tou want to do, especially if you arent paying your own tuition, like if you are getting pell grants for low income for instance, then try just taking general requirements for a semester, perhaps something there will pique your interest. I know that for me, I was interested in philosophy for a time.
For marine biology, the top 5 recommended UC and CSU schools are UC Santa Barbara, UC San Diego, UC Santa Cruz, CSU Monterey Bay, and CSU Long Beach. These schools offer strong marine biology programs, access to marine research facilities, and proximity to marine ecosystems for hands-on learning opportunities.
Alot of people like marine biology because it is the study of ANIMALS!
Biology is the bestest ever. Hands down. Biology is the best... Better than precalculus and chemistry, that's for sure. You can do a lot of fun stuff in biology, like dissect pigs. Very cool. I love it. Bio major here. Cheers. Dumb... or cool. Whatever you like!! If you like animals and big words, then maybe it is for you!!! I like it.
Cancer in biology is the mutation or change in a cell that cause abnormal activities like uncontrolled growth.
there are many significants of biology like biology is concerened with fishring, plantation, agriculture, genetic engineering, increasing of milk, fleshand and an increasing the breeding process in animals
where ever she feels like it
Properly, you would say you are majoring in education - and you can clarify it with "primary", "secondary", as the case may be.
The equation for photosynthesis: Carbon dioxide (CO2) + Water (H2O) + Light energy ----> Glucose (C6H12O6) + Oxygen (O2) I am majoring in biology... so I am confident in this answer! :) Hope it helps!
That means what a person is majoring in college. If a person is majoring in engineering, as in electrical, mechanical engineering. The major part of the studies surrounds what the person is "majoring" in, or the major amount of studies.
biology is like science
Majoring
If you were to plan on majoring in biology in college, I would suggest that you attempt to take AP Biology, Advanced Biology, Genetics, Anatomy, Chemistry, and try to take as much math as possible, particularly Algebra II, AP Calculus, and AP Statistics. On top of those basic courses I would suggest AP Literature classes because you may learn latin roots; which will help you to understand the terms used throughout biology.

You can say "Je suis en train de faire mes études en..." to mean "I am majoring in..."
It really depends, I like science and biology but I am not a big fan of reading. It is your opinion.
