Being a volcanologist is exciting and life risking because of being near a volcano that could erupt any day, month, or year. But the exciting part of being a volcanologist is collecting rocks formed by volcanoes many year's ago to see when they last erupted and when they will erupt next, but remember it's kind of hard to predict volcanic eruptions. (some signs of an coming eruption) look for ground swelling which means lava is trying to break through and out of a volcano, increased in seismic activity or magmatic activity, and you should also look for changes in the mountains such as landslides of rocks, plumes of smoke, etc. I can't also decide weather to be a volcanologists or a tornado chaser. But just remember be careful being a volcanologists and don't get to close to a volcano cause if they go boom then your toast.
