To map body tissues, MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) uses a combination of techniques: a powerful magnetic field, and radio waves. Radio waves are utilized for mapping because they will not damage the body tissue.
Making music, notes are picked by the resonant frequencies of the strings or tubes of each instrument. Microwave ovens excite water molecules in your food at their resonant frequency so your food is warmed more effectively. Magnetic Resonance Imaging machines (MRI) exploit resonance in hydrogen molecules in your body to identify different types of tissue. 'WiTricity' is a form of wireless energy transfer that exploits magnetic resonance to transfer electricity between coils over greater distances.
Amethysts are not magnetic because they are crystal.
no because they are not magnetic and their not made of magnet
Lithium is not inherently magnetic because it has no unpaired electrons to create a magnetic field. It is a paramagnetic material meaning it can become slightly magnetic when placed in a magnetic field, but it does not retain its magnetism once the external field is removed.
The gyromagnetic ratio is a physical constant that relates the magnetic moment of an atom's nucleus to its angular momentum. It is an important factor in determining the behavior of nuclear magnetic resonance and electron spin resonance. The gyromagnetic ratio is key in understanding how nuclei interact with magnetic fields in various applications, such as magnetic resonance imaging and spectroscopy.
In nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, chemical shift is significant because it provides information about the chemical environment of atoms in a molecule. It helps identify different types of atoms and their connectivity, aiding in the determination of molecular structure.
The patient should not have any magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) tests for six months after the procedure, because the magnetic field may move the stent.
Resonance is important because it allows molecules to be more stable by distributing electron density more evenly. This can help stabilize reactive intermediates in organic reactions. Additionally, resonance can affect the reactivity and properties of a molecule, influencing its chemical behavior.

The Breit-Rabi formula is important in atomic spectroscopy because it accurately describes the behavior of atomic energy levels in the presence of external magnetic fields. This formula helps scientists understand and predict how atoms interact with magnetic fields, which is crucial for applications such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and atomic clocks.

I am not quite sure what the person is wanting to know but, as an MRI technologist, I felt I might be able to shed some light on the question. MRI stands for, "magnetic resonance imaging". We use a magnetic field to image the hydrogen protons in the body that have been subjected to radio frequencies. The term resonance means that these protons are spinning at the same frequency (in sync). Patients may choose to have an OPEN MRI or a CLOSED MRI. The difference is that with a closed unit, the images are better because the magnet is stronger. It is an enclosed tube that is usually open on both ends. An OPEN MRI is usually a table with equipment above you and equipment below you (nothing on the sides). The OPEN is used to image people that are claustrophobic or that may be too large (over a weight limit) to fit inside the CLOSED unit. It is always best to discuss plans with your physician if claustrophobia is the issue. I hope this has helped.
In my opinion I think the magnetic compass is more important because It made worldwide travel easier and encouraged more exploration.

Doctors call MRI, MRI! There's no other term for it. It stands for 'Magnetic Resonance Imaging'. It used to be called NMR 'nuclear magnetic resonance' but the name was changed because people didn't like the idea of a 'nuclear' machine - although it's got absolutely nothing to do with bombs or radiation... just the same word used for a different thing.
