1. In case of a spaceship when it is in space free from all gravitational forces, if suddenly the rockets are turned off, the spaceship will not have acceleration, but still it continues in motion with a uniform velocity. To bring it to the zero velocity we must give it a breaking force by turning on the rocket in the opposite direction.
2. When we hit a hanging carpet using a stick, we see dust particles coming out of the carpet. When the carpet is at rest along with the dust particles, we do not see the dust particles as they are hidden in the carpet at rest. When the carpet is hit with a stick, the carpet is motion with a sudden start. As the dust particles are at rest, they continue to in that state. So when we hit the carpet, the carpet moves and dust particles are seen as they were at the state of rest.
3. When some glass cups are placed on a table covered with silk tablecloth, and the table cloth is pulled fast off the table, the cups stand without falling or toppling down. When the cups and tablecloth were undisturbed, they were at rest without any motion. When the cloth was pulled suddenly, the cups continued in their previous state thereby resulting in the standing of cups.

Newton's first law of motion is also known as law of inertia.
The law of inertia (it relates to an object's resistance to the change in motion)
Newton's first law of motion, also known as the law of inertia.
Actually, the first one is completely independent on the second one. But the second one doesn't make any sense without the first one.
Newtons laws of motion
the law of inertia
Law of Inertia.
Isaac Newton, he discovered: -Newton's First Law of motion. -Newton's Second Law of motion. -Newton's Third Law of motion.
It is associated with the law of gravitational pull.
because newton’s 1st law of motion uses a lot of inertia
His First Law and Second Law both do.
== ==
yes they r same
