You can't see Halley's Comet at any time of the year now. It was last seen from Earth in 1986 and won't be seen from Earth again until 2061. It orbits the Solar System, taking about 75 to 76 years to do so, so it can only be seen about that often from Earth.
it is the time when the tail is facing the north of the other comets like this <halleys tail is north of the other comets when they go > this way
It can be seen every 75-76 years. The next predicted perihelion of Halley's Comet will be 28 July 2061.
halleys comet will return in 2061.
The last time that comet hale bopp was here was around 1996 and 1997.
it s a comet which can be seen every 76 years ,it was last seen in the year 1986,march 8
Halley's comet is in orbit round the sun. Its orbit time is about 75 years, but as the orbital path is long and narrow, most of that is spent far out where we cannot see it. We see it for a few months when it is near the sun.
That is Halley's comet, named after English astronomer Edmond Halley,
Halley's Comet has never been 10 miles above Earth. It is always millions of miles from us, even when closest to us. It was last visible from Earth in 1986. It will next be visible in 2061.

There is Halley's comet, and a meteorite crater called Hoba Iron Meteorite. Does that help?
By themselves, comets are not really important. Even the most impressive comet, like Hale-Bopp, is a visual spectacle only. But the POTENTIAL for a comet - to strike the Earth directly and cause untold devastation - is far more significant. Right now, if we were to see a comet aimed at the Earth, there is very little that we could do about it, other than stand there and die. The threat of a comet impact, like the ones that have devastated our planet several times before, ought to be enough spur us all into looking for ways to protect ourselves from the inevitable time that it WILL happen again.
It can be seen every 75-76 years. The next predicted perihelion of Halley's Comet will be 28 July 2061.
Time of the Comet was created in 2008.
The duration of Time of the Comet is 1.73 hours.
I thought Halleys comet was every 78 years, hang on, I'd better check, I remember NOT seeing it last time it came around & I thought that was in 1988 ! I was close ! 75 to 76 years is the return, so it was say 1976 when I saw it (Not)+75 years, you got to wait until 2061 or so, I wont be around to tell you to look up !
At the end of December 2011, the following comets are all brighter than magnitude 12 as seen from Earth: -- C/2009 P1 Garradd -- P/2011 Y1 Levy -- C/2011 W3 Lovejoy -- 21P Giacobini-Zinner
Halley was an astronomer, mathematician, and general scientist, and is best known for his prediction of the return period of the eponymous comet, Halleys Comet. Edmund Halley discovered the motion of stars.
