How does water changes as it evaporates?

It is only a change of phase, the molecule remain unchanged.

Does water undergo chemical change when salt is added to it?

No addition of salt to water is not a chemical change but an example of physical change and termed as solubility .

What factor affects the the change in temperature when a salt is dissolved in water?

The binding energy of the molecule compared to the binding energy of the ions it splits into when it is dissolved determines the change in heat of the water. The stronger a molecule is bound, the higher its binding energy and the more heat is needed to break it apart, which cools the water.

How could you change a molecule of water and make it a completely different substance?

To change a molecule of water into a completely different substance, you would need to break the chemical bonds between the hydrogen and oxygen atoms in water (H2O) and then rearrange those atoms to form a new compound. For example, by introducing a reactive element such as sodium into the water molecule, you could create sodium hydroxide (NaOH), which is a completely different substance than water.

Is the size of Water vapour molecule changing in ozone layer?

The water vapor molecule has he highest potential for global warming. It thus causes ozone depletion.

Why is sodium hydroxide dissolving in water is a physical change?

Because the molecule of NaOH can be recovered unchanged from the solution.

What is a chemical change but not a physical change?

Chemical change: the structure of the molecule is modified. Physical change: the structure of the molecule is not modified.

When is a phase change and when is it a sign of a chemical change?

After a physical change the molecule remain intact. After a chemical change the molecule is modified.
