What is the definition of electric power?

There is no such thing as 'electric power'. Power is simply a rate: the rate at which energy is expended.

What private jet has the fastest rate of climb?

What is the unit for rate of electric current?

The unit for rate of electric current is ampere (A). It represents the flow of electric charge per unit of time in a circuit.

What is the rate of flow of an electric charge?

The rate of flow of electric charge isamperage."Amperage" is slang. The correct term is current.

What place has the highest rate of death by lightning?

Florida state has the highest rate of death by lighting. From 1959 to 2003 lightning killed 3,696 people in the United States. Of those, 425 were in Florida.

Is there areas that will have a higer rate of lighting?

Yes, there are areas of the world that have a higher rate of lightning than other areas. The Tampa Bay area has a very high rate of lightning strikes per year. There are also areas of the world that have a higher rate of lighting, including large cities.

Should an airplane be trimmed in a climb to maintain climb rate or should you have to constantly apply upward force?

To avoid the possibility of "muscle memory" causing the pilot to execute the climb unevenly the aircraft should be trimmed to maintain the climb until the climb is done.

Which would provide the greatest gain in altitude in the shortest distance during climb after takeoff?

An airplane with a high climb rate will provide the greatest gain in altitude in the shortest distance after takeoff. This means it can climb quickly and efficiently, getting to a higher altitude in a shorter amount of time and distance compared to an airplane with a lower climb rate.

Where is Hillary's Chimney?

What is the variometer?

A variometer is a device that is used for indicating the rate of the aircraft's descent or climb.

What does an electric current Carry?

Electric current carries electric charge. Actually to say it in the right sense, we have to say that electric current is the rate of flow of electric charges

Why is angle of climb speed lower than rate of climb speed?

Not so easy to awnser in short....It is difficult to understand the relation between Vx & Vy (Vx = best angle and Vy = best rate of climb), without first understanding the effect of drag on an aircraft. If you look at the relation of total drag/power available relelative to velocity, you can determine different kinds of velocities such as Vx and Vy.To achieve the highest angle of climb (highest nose position above horizon) for a propellor driven aircraft, you need the highest amount of power available of your engine. The highest power availability occurs at a speed which is lower than your minimal drag speed (Vmd), which would be your best glide speed or best rate of climb. At point Vx you have the most excess thrust availablewhich is the single factor enabling an aircraft to climb.Note that Vx is a lower speed than Vy, your best rate of climb! Considering this, an aircraft reaches an height faster with the best rate of climb, while Vx has a higher nose attitude! Practicle use would be, to avoid an obsticle you could use Vx, and climb at shorter ground distances etc. Note that the use of flaps increase your Induced drag because the increase of lift, thus changing the total drag (reduces drag speeds) curve and changing the whole Vx/Vy speed spectrum... :)
