The Orion arm is one of the major arms in the Milky Way galaxy.
It is called the local spur arm. as we are not directly on the arm of a galaxy just between the sagittarius and perseus arms.
The Sun is located in the Orion Arm, also known as the Orion Spur, which is a minor spiral arm of the Milky Way galaxy.
The North Star, Polaris, is not located in the Orion constellation's arm. It actually lies in the Ursa Minor constellation which is separate from Orion. Orion is one of the most recognizable constellations in the sky and is prominent in the winter months.
The Orion telescopes are named after the constellation with the same name, the Orion constellation. The Orion constellation is named after the hunter in Greek mythology also with the same name, Orion.
Our galaxy is part of the Local Group which consists of more than 30 other galaxies. But E.T. might send mail to: Earth, The Orion-Cygnus Arm, Local Spur, right off The Sagittarius Arm, Milky Way, about 25,000 light years (give or take 1,000) from center. It will take some time to arrive. See link for available postcard designs.
The Orion Arm is a minor spiral arm of the Milky Way Galaxy. We are located in the Orion Arm.It is also called the Local Arm, the Local Spur or the Orion Spur.
Earth is within the Orion-Cygnus Arm. It is also referred to as the Local Arm, the Orion Arm, the Local Spur or the Orion Spur.
It's variously called the Orion Arm, the Orion-Cygnus Arm, or the Orion Spur (the term "Local Arm/Spur" is also occasionally used). Currently the Milky Way is believed to have either 2 or 4 main arms. The Orion Arm is definitely NOT one of the main arms.

In the Orion Arm.
Venus is the 2nd Planet in Our Solar System. Our Solar System is in The Solar Neighborhood. The Solar Neighborhood is in The Orion Arm. The Orion Arm is on The Milky Way Galaxy.
The Sun is located in the Orion Arm, also known as the Orion Spur, which is a minor spiral arm of the Milky Way galaxy.
Our sun, the Earth, and all the other planets in our solar system reside within the Orion Arm of the Milky Way Galaxy. Our local Orion Arm of the Milky Way is some 3,500 light years across. It's approximately 10,000 light years in length. We're located close to the inner rim of this spiral arm, about halfway along its length.
The Orion is a spur of the Perseus arm of the Milky Way. Our sun is in this arm. All the stars and constellations we can see with the unaided eye are also in the Milky Way Galaxy, as is the Orion Nebula (a vast cloud of interstellar gas).
The Orion-Cygnus Arm of the Milky Way galaxy is about 3,500 light years across and approximately 10,000 light years in length.
