Mesotidal I think is not a noun. It is a characteristic of a coast. For instance, the Eastern Wadden-sea (Netherlands) is mesotidal: the difference between water height at high tide and at low tide is in the mesotidal range. The ranges are approximately as follows, but different sources give different limits: Microtidal: under 2m Mesotidal: 2-3?m Macrotidal: over 3?m http://fds.oup.com/www.oup.co.uk/pdf/0-19-852508-7.pdf Box 1.3 gives the tidal ranges.

It says here mesotidal is 2-4m. Macro Tidal - 4m and above Micro Tidal - 2m and below

Meso Tidal- Between 2 - 4m
