sea slugs main food source is a specific type of "alga". the sea slugs make a cut in the alga and sucks its cytoplasm and digest most of it but retains the plastids that trap the solar energy and so on plastids continues to photosynthesize and provide food to slugs.
theree is requirement of certain gene for the process of photosynthesis.... and slugs contain at least one gene required for plastid functioning. Once slug has acquired sufficient amount of plastids it can suvive like plants for atleast nine (9) months by trapping solar energy and converrting it into food with the help of plastids.
so the required food chain for sea slugs is as :
algae (cytoplasm)-=__=------------ -sea slugs
In a white lion's food chain, they are carnivores and their diet includes a variety of animals such as antelope, zebras, wildebeests, and sometimes smaller mammals like rabbits or birds. White lions are at the top of the food chain in their ecosystem and do not have natural predators.
Lion
In a savanna food chain, grass is eaten by zebras, which are then hunted by lions. The lions may also scavenge on the remains left by hyenas. This creates a simple food chain of grass → zebra → lion → hyena.
a lion falls at the top of the food web,no questions asked. it is also a top predator
A leafy sea dragon's food chain includes tiny crustaceans like mysid shrimp and amphipods as primary food sources. They are then consumed by larger predators in the ocean such as fish and cephalopods. The leafy sea dragon occupies the middle of the food chain, feeding on small prey and being preyed upon by larger predators.
somewhere in the middle of it
The lion is an apex predator - at the top of the food chain.
Any animal that eats fish (eg. a bear) will eat it. so the food chain kind of goes like this: sea water plants>lion fish>bear>wolves>huamns
The consumer in the food chain/web that eats the Austalian sea lion would be forced to find other food. If that consumer can't find other food then it would extinct as wel. And so on...
At the top.
The lion is an apex predator, at the top of the food chain.
A lion eats just about any animal
