The Nervous System is the control system for the body. It includes the brain and nerves that connect the brain to different parts of the body. Your brain controls all the functions of the body and uses the nerves to communicate with the body what it should be doing. The brain also does all of our thinking so we can make decisions using the information our brain gathers from our senses. Our five senses receive input from our environment and send signals along our nerves to the brain where the signals are processed. The brain sometimes reacts automatically to these inputs, like when you pull your hand away from a hot object. Other times we make decisions about how to react to these stimuli. Most of the signals our brain receives we don't even pay attention to, but our brain is receiving and processing them nontheless. The Human Brain is even more amazing because it has the ability to create thoughts and ideas and to communicate these thoughts and ideas in a wide variety of ways.
Nerve Cells. 100% sure.
Spinal Cord
Blood cells are called erythrocytes (red blood cells), leukocytes (white blood cells), and thrombocytes (platelets). Nerve cells are called neurons.
Nerve Cells are capable of transmitting [relaying] bio-information.
The cells that transmit sensory messages are called nerve cells or neurons. Muscle cells, also known as myocytes, are responsible for contraction and movement.
Connector nerve cells connect the sensory nerve cells with motor nerve cells and allow for decision making.
a nerve tends to refer to a group of nerve cells.
ganglion cells
Yes, dogs do have nerve cells.
A nerve cell is the structural and functional unit of a nerve
False
Nerve Cells. 100% sure.
Spinal Cord
These Types of nerve Cells are Known As Motor Neurons.
Blood cells are called erythrocytes (red blood cells), leukocytes (white blood cells), and thrombocytes (platelets). Nerve cells are called neurons.
A group of nerve cells is called a "neuron" or "nerve cell cluster". These cells are fundamental units of the nervous system and work together to transmit electrical and chemical signals throughout the body.
Yes, the peripheral nervous system has both sensory and motor nerve cells
