Sir Isaac newton was not an Inventor, he was a Mathematician and Scientist. His most famous discovery was the existence of Gravity, which the popular story says he noticed when an apple fell on his head while he sat under a tree. An Inventor Invents things, such as a Car or Washing Machine. A Scientist studies things to try to understand how they work. For example Scientists have studied human DNA to try to understand how our bodies are built from the 'egg and seed' of our parents.
