It is called the Prime Meridian, and all nations have agreed that it's the line at

zero longitude. That way, if there's a ship sinking, and ships from 35 different

countries all want to sail over there and help it, the ship that's in distress can

tell all of them the same longitude number, and they'll all wind up at the same

place, because they all agree on where the measurement of longitudes begins.
