The longest wavelengths visible to the average human being are in the range of ~700 nanometers which appears to be red to the human eye.
However, I am capable of perceiving the red light that my 2 Logitech cordless laser mice emit at 848 nanometers. I hope I am not damaging my eyesight, but I don't believe the emission spectrum for such a laser would be very wide, so I would bet that 800-820 nm is still in the visible range, at least for younger people. I am 22 years old.
the longest wavelengths of visible are red colored
Red is the longest wavelength of visible light
The longest wavelength / lowest frequency visible light is the red end of the spectrum. The shortest wavelength / highest frequency visible light is the violet end of the spectrum.
Red light has the longest wavelength within the visible spectrum.
Red light has the longest wavelength in the visible spectrum.
The longest wavelength in the visible light spectrum is at the red end (at about 750nm) the lowest is violet (450nm). For a given intensity source the energy that can be generated is equal. The answer you are looking for is 720-680nm
Red is the longest wavelength of visible light
Red is the longest wavelength of visible light
The longest wavelength / lowest frequency visible light is the red end of the spectrum. The shortest wavelength / highest frequency visible light is the violet end of the spectrum.
The longest visible wavelength of light appears red. "Longest wavelength" is equivalent to 'lowest frequency'.
Red light has the longest wavelength.
Red light has the longest wavelength within the visible spectrum.
Red light has the second longest wavelength in the visible light spectrum, after infrared light.
Red light has the longest wavelength in the visible light spectrum.
No, red light has the longest wavelength within the visible light spectrum.
No, red light has the longest wavelength within the visible light spectrum.
No, red is the longest wavelength of visible light, with the lowest frequency and the least energy. Violet light has the shortest wavelenght, with the highest frequency and the most energy (of visible light).
The color red has the longest wavelength of any color.
