Merits of Periodic Table
1. The classification of elements is based on the atomic number, which is a more fundamental property.
2. The reason for placing isotopes at one place is justified as the classification is on the basis of atomic number.
3. It explains the periodicity of the properties of the elements and relates them to their electronic configurations.
5. The position of the elements that were misfits on the basis of mass number (anomalous pairs like argon and potassium) could be justified on the basis of atomic number.
6. The lanthanides and actinides are placed separately at the bottom of the
periodic table.
7. The table is simple, systematic and easy way for remembering the properties of various elements as it is based on the electronic configuration.
Demerits are
1. Position of Hydrogen is still in dispute to keep weather in Alkali, Crystallogens ,or Halogen
2. Lanthanides and Actinides are kept away from main body
3. Helium is of s-block still kept in p-block due to noble gas property
Mendeleev's periodic table was superior to Newlands' because it organized elements based on atomic mass and allowed for the prediction of undiscovered elements, leaving gaps for them. Mendeleev also recognized the importance of grouping elements with similar chemical properties, leading to a more functional arrangement. In contrast, Newlands' table was based on a simpler pattern that resulted in inconsistencies, such as grouping elements with dissimilar properties in the same category. Mendeleev's approach laid the groundwork for the modern periodic table and the concept of periodicity.
It is named The PERIODIC TABLE. The periods being the horizontal rows The groups being the vertical columns.
who introduced the first Periodic Table
Elements are found on periodic table. Compounds are not present on periodic table. The table does not contains mixture.Elements can be found on a periodic table. Compounds can be made by bonding two or more elements. But they are not depicted on the periodic table.

A group in Periodic Table is the column of element in periodic table
It is called the Periodic Table of Elements.
who introduced the first Periodic Table
There are no compounds on the periodic table. The periodic table only lists elements.
No, the symbol "H" stands for Hydrogen on the periodic table. The symbol "He" stands for Helium on the periodic table.

Copper is located in period 4 of the periodic table.
The abbreviation for potassium is " K " in the periodic table. It is placed in group-1 of the periodic table.
