Doppler spectroscopy, also known as radial velocity measurement, has been the method used to find most of the 500+ confirmed exoplanets so far. It looks at how the spectrum from the star shifts as it changes radial velocity, due to a planets gravity effecting its movement.
Measurement of the wobble of the star, caused by the orbital motion of the planet, detected either by accurate positional measurement of the star or by spectral shift in the Star spectrum
The radial velocity method and the transit method have been most successful in discovering massive planets orbiting near their parent stars. The radial velocity method detects planets by measuring the wobble of the star caused by the gravitational pull of the planet, while the transit method detects planets by observing the dip in brightness as the planet passes in front of its star.
Not directly. Exoplanets are generally too small and dim to be seen directly, at interstellar distances, especially since they are hidden by the glare of their parent star. Only a handful of planets have been imaged directly, and most of those were detected using infrared rather than visible light.
Not all gas giant planets have low temperatures (most exoplanets are hot "jupiters"). In our solar system the relatively low temperature are a result of the distance they are from the Sun.

The most commonly used note-taking method is probably the Cornell method, which involves dividing your paper into sections for notes, cues, and a summary. It is a popular system because it encourages organization and active engagement with the material.
Simply put, larger planets are easier to detect by pretty much all the methods we use for finding exoplanets. The two most successful methods are the transit method and the radial velocity method. The transit method involves detecting the drop in a star's apparent brightness as a planet passes in front of it and blocks a small amount of the light. Larger planets will obviously block more light. The radial velocity technique measures the "wobble" of the parent star caused by the planet's gravity. More massive planets will have stronger gravity and thus produce a larger wobble.
The most commonly used wiring method for residential use is called nonmetallic sheathed cable. Other types of wiring methods are knob and tube, as well as service entrance cable.
