there is no one compound with that chemical formule, the closet you can get is C2H6, which is ethane...the only other thing it could be is two atoms of methane, CH4
IT IS Ethan, but it has one carbon at valency VI (not IV). H5C-CH3;
C18H38 is the alkane: octadecane. lol that was acutally my question but if anyone else is wondering, there's the answer! :)
C8H18 is a liquid called Octane, which they use in petrol
this is the formula of alcano call octane because have 8 carbons and 18 hidrogens = look= CH3-CH2-CH2-CH2-CH2-CH2-CH2-CH3OK BYE
It is petrol.
Octane.
Octane
C8h18
The reactants are C8H18 and oxygen.
The chemical reaction is:2 C8H18 +25 O2 = 16 CO2 + 18 H2O
C8H18. I assume you mean how many moles octane in 16 grams. 16 grams C8H18 (1 mole C8H18/114.224 grams) = 0.140 moles octane
C8h18
C8h18
2 moles C8H18 (18 moles H/1 mole C8H18) = 36 moles of hydrogen =================
The reactants are C8H18 and oxygen.
octane + oxygen -------> carbon dioxide + water
Combustion of Octane: 2 C8H18 + 17 O2 --> 16 CO2 + 9 H2O
The chemical reaction is:2 C8H18 +25 O2 = 16 CO2 + 18 H2O
The chemical reaction is:2 C8H18 +25 O2 = 16 CO2 + 18 H2O

yes. C8H18
C8h18
C8h18
I don't know the exact formula but, i know the density of iso-octane: 0.69 g/ml And one gallon is equal to 3,840 ml so.... all you need is the volume.
