These statements may be helpful for answering this question:
Normality is equal to the number of equivalent weights of solute per Liter of solution.
Molarity is equal to the number of moles of solute per Liter of solution, and to determine the number of moles, you take the weight of the solutes in solution divided by the weight of one of those solute molecule (the molecular weight).
How does one relate equivalent weights to moles. The equivalent weight of a compound is equal to its molecular weight divided by its valence. The valence in this context means the same thing as the number of substitutable groups (H+s or OH-s). Carbonic acid is a diprotic acid that dissociates to release 2 ionizable H+ s. So along those lines, a 1 M solution of H2CO3 is equivalent to a 2N solution of H2CO3. If 1 molar H2CO3 = 2N H2CO3 , a 2.4 M H2CO3 with 2 ionizable groups x 2.4, or 4.8N.
Sorry if you got my first answer and that confused you, the second answer (4.8) is the correct one. I confused normality with equivalent weight. The equivalent weight of an acid with a valence >1 like H2CO3 (valence = 2) is in fact less than its molecular weight, but the question was about normality, the number of equivalents present in a liter of solution which is not the same as the equivalent weight.
H2CO3 = Carbonic acid It is made by dissolving Carbon dioxide into Water. H2O + CO2 ----> H2CO3
The normality is o,3.
H2CO3 is not used as buffer.
Normality (N) of a liquid solution is calculated by dividing the number of equivalents of solute by the volume of solvent in liters. The formula for normality is N = (equivalents of solute) / (volume of solvent in liters).
The normality of the acid solution can be calculated using the formula: Normality of acid x Volume of acid = Normality of alkali x Volume of alkali. Plugging in the values, we get: Normality of acid x 50 ml = 0.1879 N x 48.6 ml. Solving for the normality of the acid gives approximately 0.186 N.
24m / 1km = 24m/1000m = 0.024
A = (B x H)/2 = 24m x 24m / 2 = 288 sq m
24m is equal to 24 meters in length.
The best way to get 24M is to craft nature runes.
24m × 1/8 = 3m
The 24m buildingis 50cm taller thanthe 2,350cm tree.
Oh, dude, one fourth of 24m is like 6m. You just divide 24m by 4, and boom, you get your answer. It's not rocket science, just basic math, man.
5m Check: 5+5+7+7 = 24m
H2CO3 = Carbonic acid It is made by dissolving Carbon dioxide into Water. H2O + CO2 ----> H2CO3
Normality can be used in quite a few ways actually, such as: "It was hard to return to normality after such a traumatising experience." and "His complete disregard of normality confounded the other students".
Normality= mass / (equivalent wt *volume)
