Ocean System:
The Ocean System is made out of all of the oceans, the rivers, the lakes. (basecally all of the water part of the whole world)
Pacific Ocean
There are two reasons. First, tsunamis are not as common in the Indian Ocean as they are in the Pacific, which has had a warning system since 1949. This meant there was less motivation to build such a system. Second, the Indian Ocean is surrounded largely by countries that are not well economically developed and likely were unable to build such a system. The Pacific, by contrast, is bordered by a number of wealthy nations, most notably the United States, Canada, and Japan.
The system of volcanoes surrounding the Pacific Ocean is known as the Ring of Fire. It is a horseshoe-shaped area where a large number of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions occur in the basin of the Pacific Ocean. The Ring of Fire is home to about 75% of the world's active and dormant volcanoes.
In California they have developed a system to obtain energy from the waves, the system is called Pelamis Wave Energy Convertor.
Only the Earth, as far as we currently know.
it is the buffering system in ocean
The length of the mid-ocean ridge system is more than 70,000 kilometers
geologically speaking,an ocean has a rift system which works on expanding the ocean floor, while a sea has no rift system, the size is constant. the red sea can be considered an expanding ocean, yet it is called a sea because of its small size compared with the Atlantic ocean which has an expanding mid ocean rift system that runs north to south and surfaces in iceland.

1. a ring or circle. 2. a circular course or motion. Gyre is a large system in the ocean. The large system is rotating in the currents.
Hurricanes need warm ocean water to fuel their development and intensification. As warm air rises from the ocean surface, it creates a low-pressure system. This low-pressure system then draws in more warm, moist air from the ocean, feeding the hurricane and causing it to grow stronger.
About three quarters of the Earth's surface is covered by water. The largest connected body of water is the ocean system, in which it is divided into five oceans: the Arctic Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean, the Indian Ocean, the Pacific Ocean, and the Southern Ocean.
They use the St. Lawrence Seaway; a system of canals, lakes, and rivers.
The rotational force of the Earth-moon system causes tidal bulges in the ocean. This force creates a gravitational pull that leads to the rise and fall of ocean levels in a predictable pattern known as tides.
