The core of Venus is likely nickel and iron like Earth.

The surface composition of Venus is believed to be similar to Earth's, largely silicon-based rock. The spacecraft that have landed there have analyzed very little of the composition.

The atmosphere on Venus is almost all carbon dioxide (around 96.5%) with around 3.5% nitrogen. There are also small amounts of sulfur dioxide (0.0015), carbon monoxide (0.0017%), water vapor (0.002%), argon (0.007), helium (0.0012%) and neon (0.0007%)
