interphase is the phase that takes up most of the cells life. In interphase their are three parts: G1, S, G2. Interphase is basically preparing cell for cell division. After interphase takes place, then the cell division takes place with Prophase, metaphase, anaphase, and telephase.

I think this is right :)

hope this makes sense

What is the period of growth in between cell division called?

The period of growth in between cell division is called interphase. During interphase, cells grow, replicate their DNA, and prepare for cell division.

Where does interphase occur?

Interphase occurs in the cell cycle, between cell divisions. It is the stage in which the cell grows, carries out its normal functions, and prepares for cell division.

The period of growth in between cell divisions is called?

It is interphase, which is divided into three stages. First is a growth stage (G1), during which the synthesis of proteins and other necessary molecules takes place and the cell becomes larger. At about mid-interphase the cell replicates its nuclear DNA (S phase; the letter stands for "synthesis"). Finally there is a second growth stage (G2).

Which letter correctly identifies interphase?

Interphase is an in between growth of the cell cycle. A lot of events occur during this in between stage, including preparing for the next stage, which all-together makes up the cell cycle.
