The biosphere is important to the hydrological cycle because without the trees the precipitation won't be met with any interception and therefore will go straight to the ground where little or no infiltration will happen because the land has been disturbed. this means that the water will get back to the river more quickly and therefore will cause flooding.

The lithosphere is important to the hydrological cycle because without it infiltration won't happen in the earths crust and therefore will cause surface storage and then surface runoff which will then cause flooding in the river because the water will get back faster than going all the way underground to the water table and then going into the river.

Hope this help.

What spheres are part of the water cycle?

1% of the Atmosphere includes water vapor, water vapor is a part of the water cycle. Water covers 71% of the earth, Hydrosphere, the water cycle includes water.Hydrosphere, atmosphere, lithosphere, and biosphereapex

What is the function of the water cycle in the biosphere?

Simply, biosphere is a zone or sphere on earth surface like atmosphere, hydroshpere and lithosphere. Biosphere is where all living beings are formed. So you know water is essential for evey living creatures (incuding plants). Due to heating and cooling of earth's surface water gets evaporation or evapotranspiration, condensation, precipitation, etc. This process is water cycle and which is matter for all life forms on earth. I think this is easiest to understand?

What is mans role in the water cycle?

Man has no role in the water cycle. Neither can the duplicate it.

What is unique about the biosphere it is the only sphere that contains water the only sphere that doesn't support life because it exist entirely within other spheres?

The biosphere is unique because it is the sphere where life exists on Earth. It encompasses all living organisms and their interactions with the environment. Unlike the other spheres (atmosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere), the biosphere is where living organisms thrive and play a crucial role in shaping the planet.

Why does the water cycle play an important role in the environment?

The water cycle plays an important role in the environment. This cycle recycles the water in the system for the plants and animals.

How the biosphere and the lithosphere interact with one another through the hydrosphere?

The biosphere and lithosphere interact through the hydrosphere in various ways. For example, water in the hydrosphere provides a critical medium for life to exist in the biosphere and plays a role in shaping the lithosphere through erosion and sedimentation processes. Additionally, the nutrients and minerals that are essential for life in the biosphere often come from the lithosphere and are cycled through the hydrosphere.

What are the different spheres of the earth how would you relate them to each other.?

The Earth is divided into four main spheres: the lithosphere (solid outer layer), hydrosphere (water bodies), atmosphere (air and gases), and biosphere (living organisms). These spheres are interconnected and influence each other through processes like the water cycle, carbon cycle, and rock formation. For example, the lithosphere provides a habitat for organisms in the biosphere, while the biosphere plays a role in nutrient cycling and oxygen production in the atmosphere.

What spheres does oxygen cycle through on earth?

Phosphorus cycles through all sphered except the atmosphere

What is interaction between the hydrosphere and biosphere?

The hydrosphere and biosphere interact through the water cycle. Water from the hydrosphere is essential for sustaining life in the biosphere through processes like drinking, photosynthesis, and nutrient transport. In turn, the biosphere plays a role in regulating water quality and availability through activities like plant transpiration and nutrient cycling.

What are the main 4 realms of the earth?

The main four realms of the Earth are the lithosphere (land), hydrosphere (water), atmosphere (air), and biosphere (living organisms). Each realm plays a vital role in supporting life on Earth and is interconnected through various processes.

How do you distinguish between the biosphere lithosphere hydrosphere and atmosphere?

Biosphere - any part of the earth that contains life. Lithosphere - outer solid part of the earth including crust and upper mantle Hydrosphere - the part of the earth made up of water Atmosphere - the layer of gases surrounding the earth that are contained by gravity

How do the lithosphere biosphere hydrosphere and atmosphere interact with one another?

the dead animals are descomposed, and the nutrients now form part of the lithosphere. The animal breathing changes the atmosphere. The animal blood or waste can change the hydrosphere A change in the biosphere, litosphere, atmosphere or hydrosphere can make another change in biosphere A change in atmosphere (more tempereture) can evaporate the water, kill the animals and plants and changes in temperature (heat and cold) can break stones (lithosphere)

Which of earth's spheres do represent?

The Earth's spheres are the lithosphere (land), hydrosphere (water), atmosphere (air), and biosphere (living organisms). Each sphere plays a significant role in shaping the environment and influencing life on Earth.

What is the water cycles role?

It is a description of how water moves through the biosphere of Earth.

What do the Physical Systems of the earth include?

The physical systems of the Earth include the atmosphere (air), hydrosphere (water), lithosphere (land), and biosphere (living organisms). These systems interact and influence each other, playing a crucial role in shaping Earth's environment and supporting life.
