You can use the method of sieving to separate pebbles and sand. Sieving involves passing a mixture of pebbles and sand through a mesh or sieve that allows the smaller particles (sand) to pass through while retaining the larger particles (pebbles).
To draw a flow chart of the separation of sand and sawdust, you would typically start with a decision point asking if the mixture needs to be separated. Then, you would have two branches: one for the separation of sand and one for sawdust. Each branch would likely include steps such as using a sieve for sand and a filter for sawdust. Finally, the two streams would join back together as separate components.

The method of separation is different for each system.
Distillation is a method for the separation of liquids components.

Filtration is the most simple method.
we will use some methodsto separate pumice from water we will use a magnateto separate sawdust from water we will use the method of sedimentation , to make it more clear we will use the method of filtration

One way to separate sawdust from nails is by using a magnet to attract and remove the nails while leaving the sawdust behind. Another method is to use a sieve or strainer to filter out the nails from the sawdust by pouring the mixture through it. Alternatively, you can spread the mixture out and physically pick out the nails from the sawdust.

It is called filtering.
Add water, stir til sugar dissolves, fiter repeatedly until the water is clean, slow evap to retrieve the sugar. Add the dust and sand from the filter (most will have separated pretty well, sand on bottom etc) into a cup/beaker/bucket etc and fill with water, put it in a deep tray and add water very slowly to the bucket until the sawdust has all spilt over the edge. Your sand will be in the bucket and sawdust will have overflowed into the tray.
