CRT can stand for many things, but in relation to human physiology, one of the most common meanings of the abbreviation is Capillary Refill Time.

Capillary Refill Time is used by health professionals to help assess if a person is dehydrated and measures how quickly the blood vessels refill with blood. It is performed by pressing on the nail of a finger or toe and timing how long it takes for the colour to return, normal CRT is considered to be less than 2 seconds, any longer and it could be a sign that the patient is dehydrated, however everyone varies so the test is usually used alongside other investigations.
