It is like a sphere but with some bits like spider legs sticking out of it
happy now?
A cancer cell may look similar to a normal cell but has unique features like irregular shape, larger size, and increased nucleus-to-cytoplasm ratio. It can also appear more disorganized and divide rapidly compared to healthy cells. Advanced imaging techniques help scientists study the distinct characteristics of cancer cells.
Cancer can disrupt the normal regulation of the cell cycle, leading to uncontrolled cell division and tumor formation. Mutations in genes that control cell cycle checkpoints can allow cancer cells to bypass mechanisms that normally prevent excessive cell growth. This disruption of the cell cycle can contribute to the unchecked proliferation of cancer cells.
Cancer cells often exhibit uncontrolled cell division due to mutations in genes that regulate the cell cycle. This results in faster proliferation and reduced apoptosis. Additionally, cancer cells can bypass cell cycle checkpoints, leading to genomic instability and unchecked growth.
Lysing a cancer cell during chemotherapy refers to the destruction or breakdown of the cancer cell membrane, leading to cell death. Chemotherapy drugs are designed to target and kill fast-growing cancer cells by interfering with their ability to divide and grow. Lysing cancer cells is a key mechanism by which chemotherapy works to shrink tumors and control cancer growth.
It depends where in the cell cycle things go wrong. Possibly apotosis (cell death), but given the way the question was worded I assume you are asking about uncontrolled cell division which is cancer.
yes
Yes
Hela cell is about 14um each in size. Steven x
no
the cancer cell is your momma
Cancer cell = ta sartan (תא סרטן)
skin cancer (any cancer for that matter) is when the cell cycle becomes completely unregulated and only performs cell division without its normal cell functions.
what can cause the cell cycle to be uncontrolled is that if a pathogen gets into the cell the cell will turn into a cancer cell and that will make the cell cycle uncontrolledif your cell turns into a cancer cell then you will have cancer cells reproducing faster than a normal cell(a normal cell is supposed to reproduce every 22 hour's a cancer cell reproduces every 10 hours)

My husband was just diagnosed with secondary liver cancer. I would like to know what is the difference between small cell and larger cell cancer. This is refering to small cell and large cell lung cancer, so I don't know how helpful it'll be: Small cell lung cancer is called this because the cancer cells are small cells that are mostly filled with the nucleus. Small cell cancer spreads early on, so radiotherapy, rather than surgery, is suggested. Large cell lung cancer is called this because the cells look large and rounded. This type of cancer spreads more quickly. source: http://www.cancerhelp.org.uk/type/lung-cancer/about/types-of-lung-cancer#large
Another name for uncontrolled cell division is cancer.
cancer of the lungs There are many types . . . non-small cell carcenoma, which includes squamous cell, adenocarcenoma, bronchioalveolar, and large-cell undifferentiated carcenoma. There is also small cell lung cancer.
