Sundew plant is a carnivorous plant. It is known botanically as Drosera which contains many species.
As the sun rises, its warmth causes the dew droplets on surfaces to evaporate into the air as water vapor. This process is called evaporation, and it occurs because the heat from the sun increases the energy of the water molecules, enabling them to escape into the atmosphere.
As the day gets warmer, dew evaporates into the air. The sun's heat causes water droplets to turn from a liquid state into water vapor, which then rises into the atmosphere.
Morning dew is water droplets that form on surfaces due to condensation of moisture in the air during cooler temperatures at night. When struck by the sun, the water droplets focus the sunlight's energy, causing a magnifying effect that can concentrate the heat to a point where it can ignite dry grass or leaves.
The teardrop shape of dew on a plant is primarily due to surface tension. Water molecules are attracted to each other, creating a cohesive force that pulls them into a shape with minimal surface area. This shape is a spherical cap, which appears teardrop-like as it rests on the surface of the plant, balancing gravitational forces and surface tension. The curvature also helps to prevent the dew from easily rolling off the leaf.
Most plants produce their own energy from sunlight. To store energy, these plants need sunlight, chlorophyll, water, and carbon dioxide.Other plants ,called parasites and saprophyte, have no chlorophyll and steal their food from other plants.Other plants catch insects for food. Examples are venus flytrap, sun dew plant and pitcher plant.

Project Sun Dew was created in 2005.
The morning dew glistened on the grass as the sun rose.
When I am thirsty, there is nothing better than a can of Mountain Dew.
When the sun rises, the warmth and light cause the dew to evaporate. As the temperature rises, the water droplets in the dew transform into water vapor and are released into the air.
If you touched the dew of a sundew, you wouldn't relatively be harmed. I own sundews, and haven't died. The dew is slightly sticky and oily to me. the dew is used to digest insects. If it was on your skin, you would wash your hand. Of course, I don't know for certain if it is entirely harmless to humans, but hey, they don't make you sign wavers to buy sundews...
Dew over time sinks into the leaves of the plant and works to slowly decompose it until it wilts and dies.
Dew appears on grass in the early morning hours. It goes away after the sun is up because the heat of the sun causes the water to evaporate.
