Siberia is the farthest west territory. (It's also the farthest east, depending on which way matters to you)

It is the westernmost province in Canada and is directly above the US state of Washington. It extends east to the Rocky Mountains and north to the Yukon Territory.

The Civil War in Russia during this time meant that the Bolsheviks were constantly expanding and defending their territory from counter-revolutionary forces.
