First of all I'm not a physiotherapist or any sort of trained medical person but I do have extreme hyperflexibility so this is what I've been told to do. Exercise, exercise, exercise!!! Basically strengthening up your muscles and training them to 'hold' your bones in place. Core work is very good for the back but try to do exercises which build up your TVA (transversus abdominis), it's the main core muscle and strengthening it should help a lot. Also if you visit a physio they'll help you with the TVA, you can activate it whenever you want if you know how to not just when you're exercising. Otherwise just lots of exercise it shouldn't cause problems if managed properly if your exercising and it's causing problems you're doing something wrong unless told otherwise by a trained physiotherapist.

A control group is made up of subjects who do not receive the treatment in an experiment. This group is used as a benchmark to compare the effects of the treatment on the experimental group that does receive the treatment. By not receiving the intervention, the control group helps to isolate the effects of the treatment and determine its efficacy.

Nope. Not all people with hyperflexibility have EDS. EDS is rare, while hyperflexibility is relatively more common.
Hyperflexibility, often referred to as hypermobility, can be caused by genetic factors that affect connective tissue, making it more elastic. Conditions like Ehlers-Danlos syndrome or Marfan syndrome can also lead to increased flexibility in joints. Additionally, certain training and stretching practices can contribute to hyperflexibility, especially in athletes and dancers. Environmental factors and overall physical conditioning may also play a role in developing this trait.
