To be officially classified as a hurricane, a storm must have a sustained wind speed of at least 64 knots (119 km/hr or 74 mph).
Most storm doors are pretty much universal,unless you have side lites on one side or both. But with a little modification, i have installed them on those types as well.
It is given its name before in even becomes a hurricane. Storms are named when they reach tropical storm status. Roughly half of all tropical storms become hurricanes.
