If I'm blunt, no one cares about GCSE's (apart from English and Maths and those at grade C or above.) other than colleges or 6th forms. Most jobs requiring professional qualifications will either demand a BTEC or an NVQ in the relevant discipline or a degree. You can get a reasonable job with A-Levels such as a lab tech but you won't make much money from it.

I'm guessing you went private or went to a grammer school so get some A-Levels and then decide on what you want to do
