White blood cells
Lymphocytes
The white blood cells responsible for recognizing and destroying foreign antigens are called lymphocytes. There are two main types of lymphocytes: B cells, which produce antibodies to tag antigens for destruction, and T cells, which directly attack and destroy cells that are infected or presenting foreign antigens.
Stem cells that produce lymphocytes are primarily found in the bone marrow. Hematopoietic stem cells in the bone marrow give rise to various blood cells, including lymphocytes, which are crucial for the immune response. Additionally, lymphocytes further mature in the thymus (in the case of T cells) and in peripheral lymphoid organs like the spleen and lymph nodes.
These cells are known as lymphocytes, which are a type of white blood cell that can recognize and target specific pathogens or microorganisms. There are two main types of lymphocytes: B cells, which produce antibodies to attack pathogens, and T cells, which directly destroy infected cells.
T cells are the main type of lymphocytes that account for the majority of circulating lymphocytes in the blood. They play a crucial role in the immune response by identifying and eliminating infected or abnormal cells and coordinating the immune system's response.
white blood cells
A lymphocyte can be defined as a kind of white blood cell in the vertebrate immune system specifically, a landmark of the system. Under the microscope, lymphocytes can be divided into large lymphocytes and small lymphocytes. Large granular lymphocytes include natural killer cells (NK cells). Small lymphocytes consist of T cells and B cells.

Lymphocyte is a type of white blood cell found in the vertebral immune system. Lymphocytes can be divided into Large lymphocytes and small lymphocytes when viewed under the microscope. The Large lymphocytes include natural killer cells (NK cells) There are mainly two types of Lymphocytes. T Lymphocytes and B Lymphocytes. (these are small lymphocytes according to the microscopic view) B Lymphocytes have 3 subsets. You can see the attached link for further information.

They are white blood cells called lymphocytes. There are two broad categories of lymphocytes, namely the large granular lymphocytes and the small lymphocytes, most small lymphocytes are T or B cells, and most granular lymphocytes are NK, or Natural Killer, cells.
