O3 oxygen make up the ozone. O2 oxygen is the oxygen that we breathe.
The stratosphere is the second layer of Earth's atmosphere and contains 15% of the mass found in Earth's atmosphere. The ozone can be found in the stratosphere. What you won't find there are planes and clouds.
The ozone depletion is actually something happening naturally. It is an ongoing process. The moment ozone was formed, its formation and depletion were the phenomenons that run parallel to each other. However the rate of formation of ozone was same as its depletion so no frequent changes were seen in its thickness or concentration. However the water vapour was still present at that time which could deplete ozone but the factors like the CFC's or other ODS i.e. ozone depleting substances were not present at that time. The ozone depletion and ozone formation are actually the phenomenon which were or are carried by the same high energy ultraviolet radiations. These ultraviolet radiations make the oxygen molecules present in the lower stratospheric region of the atmosphere dissociate onto two single atoms of nascent oxygen i.e. [O]. These nascent oxygen atoms individually react with the oxygen molecules to form ozone molecule. However the same Ultraviolet radiations make the ozone molecule break down into oxygen molecules. However with the start of the industrial revolution and the discovery of the CFC's the rate of depletion of ozone increased as compared to the formation rate and thus a so called ozone hole was formed in the ozone layer of the earth.
The conversion of oxygen gas (O2) into ozone (O3) by lightning is a chemical change. This process involves rearrangement of atoms to form a new substance with different properties.
Ozone is a molecule composed of three oxygen atoms (unlike the normal oxygen molecules which contains only two oxygen atoms). All ozone has the same composition, there is only one kind of ozone. Whether ozone is considered to be good or bad depends upon the location of the ozone, not the composition. Ozone at high altitudes is good, because it protects us from ultraviolet radiation from the sun. Ozone at ground level is bad, because it is harmful to our health if we inhale it.

Ozone is made up of oxygen atoms. It is the triatomic form of oxygen.
O3 is a molecule / compound, not element

Ozone acted as a miracle shield. It is a protective layer.

For supporting the ozone, we must stop the use of CFC's. They are the ones which deplete ozone.
The ozone layer is something very precious for the human race. But this human layer is being destroyed by the reckless use of the harmful CFC's by man thus making a kind of ozone hole in the ozone layer. This ozone layer cannot be replenished by man made sources. This is because the amount of ozone which is prepared by man is very negligible as compared to the amount which is depleted. So the ozone can only be replenished if the amount of CFC's which are consumed by the human race is decreased.

Hairsprays that contain chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) are harmful to the ozone layer. CFCs break down ozone molecules in the stratosphere, contributing to ozone depletion. It is important to choose hairsprays labeled as "ozone-friendly" or "CFC-free" to help protect the ozone layer.
