Water in chemistry is H2O. It can be all three states of matter. In its solid form, it is ice. In its liquid form, it is what we traditionally call water. In its gaseous form, it is water vapor (sometimes referred to as steam).

It can be all three. Water as we know it is a liquid. when it gets frozen, it turns into ice- a solid. When water heats up, it evaporates and becomes a gas- water vapour

At at atmospheric pressure andnd temperatures above 0oC (32oF) it is a liquid, below this temperature (at freezing point) its solid, at both these temperatures it can exist simultaneously with the solid or liquid as a gas. Above 100oC (212oF) and atmospheric pressure water "boils" and exists only as a gas. Interestingly at the "triple point" water can exist simultaneously as a solid liquid and a gas. This combination occurs at exactly 273.16 K (0.01 °C) and a partial vapour pressure of 611.73 pascals.

Can a solution be a solid a gas and a liquid or is it just liquids and gases or just liquids only?

A solution can exist as a solid, liquid, or gas. Examples include alloys (solid solutions), soda (liquid solution), and air (gas solution). Solutions are defined as homogenous mixtures of two or more substances.
