A mineral called peridotite.
a large object struck Earth, and ejected material from the collision combined.
Large segments of the crust and upper mantle known as the Lithospheric plates.
Scientists believe that when in the formation, it was hit by a large object after it differentiated and lost most of it's materials from outer layers (crust + mantle); leaving mostly iron. Another possibility is that it at that part of the disk from where it was formed had more iron than other areas. , hot material rises towards the surface and cooler material sinks back down towards the Earth's core. This is called mantle convection and is driven by the heat generated from the Earth's core and the heat released from radioactive decay within the mantle. The motion of these convection currents is responsible for plate tectonics and the movement of continents over time.
Scientists believe that galaxies were formed from the gravitational collapse of large clouds of gas and dust in the early universe. As these clouds collapsed, they formed smaller structures that eventually evolved into galaxies. The exact mechanisms of galaxy formation are still an area of active research in astrophysics.

There are scientists that believe in a god and there are scientists that don't. Surveys find that a large majority of scientists do not believe in a god and even fewer believe in a creation account of the world.
Scientists think that quasars emit a large amount of energy because they believe each quasar has an incredibly large black hole in the center of it. They believe a torus, or disk of dust and gas, has material that falls near the black hole causing it to hear to millions of degrees that accelerates the reaction outward.
Some scientists believe it was a large meteor that crashed into the earth disrupting the food resources and proper atmosphere, which led to the large dinosaurs dying off. Some scientists believe it was a large meteor that crashed into the earth disrupting the food resources and proper atmosphere, which led to the large dinosaurs dying off.

There is a large debate about whether or not there are microorganisms outside of the Earth. Many scientists believe that there are.
Gold is not found in large quantities in Earth's mantle. While it is present in the Earth's crust and in small amounts in the mantle, it is not one of the major elements that make up the mantle's composition.

Oxygen is not found in large quantities in the Earth's mantle as it is more abundant in the Earth's crust and atmosphere compared to the mantle. The most abundant elements in the Earth's mantle are oxygen, silicon, magnesium, and iron.
How does collecting a large amount helps scientists
