calciam
Yes, it is a chemical change. It is a reaction of lactic acid (acid produced by bacteria) and hydroxyapatite (mineral component present in enamel and dentin).
Mineral replacement, carbon film, and molds are examples of fossilization processes that preserve the remains of organisms. Mineral replacement occurs when organic material is gradually replaced by minerals, turning it into stone. Carbon film forms when organic material decomposes, leaving behind a thin layer of carbon that outlines the organism. Molds are impressions left in sediment when an organism is buried and then decays, creating a cavity that reflects the shape of the original organism.
The most abundant mineral component of enamel is hydroxyapatite, which is a crystalline form of calcium phosphate. It gives enamel its hardness and durability, providing protection to the underlying tooth structure.
Mineral replacement, carbon film, and molds are all examples of fossilization processes that preserve the remains of organisms. Mineral replacement occurs when minerals infiltrate organic material, replacing it atom by atom, while carbon film results from the thin residue of carbon left behind after decomposition. Molds form when an organism leaves an impression in sediment that later hardens, creating a cavity that reflects its shape. Together, these processes provide valuable insights into the history of life on Earth.

Calcium is the mineral essential for preventing tooth decay.
If it was an adult tooth you lost, you won't be getting any replacement. If it was a milk tooth, well there's nothing you can do to hurry the replacement anyhow.
Yes you can at WWW.BUILDATOOTH.COM They have a kit you can buy to make a realistic replacement tooth yourself for only $22.99
Oxygen isn't a mineral, It's a gas. Mineral's are like rocks.
It is not a mineral because it is organic and minerals are inorganic. GO SCIENCE! - crazyone

I am not 100% sure about all of the chemicals in the tooth, but i think the main ones are Calcium, this is used to give the strength to the tooth, Hydroxyapatite, when this is mixed with another chemical/mineral it becomes Calcium. I'm not sure about the mineral that mixes with hydroxyapatite, sorry!
Yes, you can get a replacement. You will need to leave your partial with your dentist and it probably won't be ready for about a week.
