Hurricanes form over tropical waters and are earth's largest and most destructive storms.
Florida has the most tropical storms in the United States, with an average of about 5-6 storms per year. The warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean make Florida particularly vulnerable to tropical storm formation.
Hurricanes form over tropical waters as a result of warm ocean temperatures and favorable atmospheric conditions. They are known as earth's largest and most destructive storms, characterized by strong winds, heavy rainfall, and storm surges that can cause widespread damage and devastation.
When ranking storms from least to most dangerous, we can consider tropical storms, thunderstorms, hurricanes, and tornadoes. Tropical storms, while potentially damaging, generally have lower wind speeds compared to hurricanes. Thunderstorms can produce severe weather, including heavy rain and lightning, but their impact is often localized. Tornadoes are the most dangerous due to their high wind speeds and potential for widespread destruction in a very short time.
Tropical storms are known by many names, including hurricanes (North America), cyclones (India) and typhoons (Japan and East Asia). They all occur in a band that lies roughly between the tropics of Cancer and Capricorn and despite varying wind speeds are ferocious storms. Some storms can form just outside of the tropics, but in general the distribution (location) of these storms is controlled by the places where sea temperatures rise above 27°C.The highest number of storms does not occur in the Atlantic close to the USA, but in the North Pacific affecting countries such as the Philippines and Japan. This is despite the fact that in the UK we only really get to hear about tropical storms affecting the USA. The most affected area being South East Asia receives an average of 26 storms per year. The least affected area is India where there is an average of 2 tropical storms per year

Well it would usually start in December !
Hot with potential for bad tropical storms but a cruise ship can outrun most storms.

Tropical storms and hurricanes are typically strongest near the center, known as the "eye," where winds are most intense and precipitation is heaviest. The eyewall surrounding the eye is where the most severe weather conditions occur, including the strongest winds and heaviest rainfall.
the amount of tropical storms found in the different places in the world. They only usually occur within a band from 20 Deg North to 20 Deg South of the equator. They do not happen at all times of the year but are most common between mid summer and autumn. So for the Southern Hemisphere this is between December and April while in the Northern Hemisphere, it is between June and October. Those storms whose wind speed do not reach these higher limits but have wind speeds reaching 60 km/hr are usually called tropical storms.

A tropical depression is the weakest category of tropical cyclone wind winds of 38 mph or less. These weather systems often develop into tropical storms and sometimes hurricanes. The most like type of scientist to study tropical depressions is a meteorologist.
Not necessarily. Many mid-latitude cyclones and weaker tropical storms are not particularly severe.
it usually occur from september to november.
