Nectar in the flowers
Benzoquinone production in plants acts as a natural defense mechanism against herbivores and pathogens due to its toxic properties. This adaptive trait helps deter feeding by herbivores and inhibit the growth of harmful pathogens, increasing the plant's chances of survival and reproduction.
Thorns are inherited. They result from genetics.
yes
Some plants have a hermaphrodite trait while other do not. This trait can be activated through any number of processes and conditions, generally this trait turns on when the plant undergoes stress.
Mendel referred to the trait that appeared in all of his first-generation plants as the "dominant" trait. In his experiments with pea plants, he observed that when he crossed different varieties, one trait would consistently manifest in the offspring, overshadowing the other trait, which he termed "recessive." This foundational concept established the basis for understanding inheritance patterns in genetics.
a trait based on appearance, i believe.

Thorns are a plants systematic defense against predation by herbivores. In plants with this defense there must have been a variant that had a proto-thorn that helped it defend against herbivores and leave more descendants with the thorn trait. ( simplistic explanation, but valid )

All dogs do this, it's a defense mechanism

we can say yes and we can also say no, YES because we used to critic someone whereas it is a sort of comparable to Reaction Formation, Denial and Acting Out, it is NO, because it may actually fall any of those 3 (or maybe to other related defense) whereas it must be stand alone, meaning, it must have its own definition.
reappears in some plants in the F2 generation
Yes.
